The Wolf Appliance brand, a market leader in residential luxury cooking appliances and a member of the Sub-Zero Group of kitchen appliance brands enlisted our design team to provide concepts for a new product category of Induction Ranges. This new line of ranges employing induction technology was intended to expand the Wolf offerings to its customers looking to purchase the best in cooking and to experience the high-efficiancy and precision of induction cooking.
Design
For this design effort, the problem statement was identified as needing to provide a more contemporary looking range that would offset the more professional look of current offerings using clean lines and simple details; at the same time maximizing the ease of use through sound ergonomic considerations.
The project team defined two top priorities:
Achieve a Contemporary look to offset the Professional aesthetic of current offerings.
Maximize the user experience so that it be worthy of the Wolf brand.
Deliver
Our design team delivered WindUp — a sleek, upright cleaning unit equipped with a one-touch revolving roll system and a precision spray applicator. Its uniquely angle head and clean lines, self-contained cartridge, and upright stance set it apart from traditional floor cleaning solutions.

Transitional Induction Range
Working in close collaboration with Wolf Engineering, our team provided the industrial design leadership for this groundbreaking product. The result is a striking and modern Electric Oven with Induction Top—designed to uphold Wolf’s legacy of performance, reliability, and refined engineering. This range combines a cutting-edge induction cooktop with a breakthrough electric oven featuring Wolf’s proprietary VertiFlowTM convection technology, delivering exceptional cooking precision, power, and efficiency with minimal effort.
Key Design Features:
Oven controls contained in an LCD touch screen.
Ergonomically positioned control screen easily seen from the user’s vantage point.
Oven cavity raised up off the floor by several inches reducing the amount of bending required for access.
Clean sleek look complimenting the sleekness inherent to the induction technology.
This product was a first for Wolf. Being the first ground-up designed/developed Induction range platform. Packed with high performance cooking, improved ergonomics and a fresh look. It captured the attention of consumers, kitchen designers, and award judges.
